PORTFOLIO

1.   Prosthetic LandscapesDesign Project / Thesis Project, 2020
Waterloo Architecture
Waterloo. Ontario, Canada

Thesis project documenting the iraqi marshes in an architectural lens, and its existence alongisde oil industry in iraqi southern region of hammar.

2.    Mr Humfreez
Design Project / Research Assistant, 2019
Waterloo Architecure
Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Mr Humfreez is a project that was done through the work with hygroscopic sensors, manufactured to react with the 65% relative humidity and a heat sensor that reacts to 18°C. Working with ANZ (Australia and New Zealand Banking Group) to produce a set of objects that can be available at home to alert kiwis about their home climate conditions and to be a useful tool for learning that can be friendly to kids and families.

3.    Wax Lamp
Design Project / Material Syntax, 2018
Waterloo Architecure
Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

This project was an experiment in controlling wax as a tool for lighting and measuring time, using the material properties to manufacture a lamp that can contain wax, recycle it through a process of subtraction (melting) and deposition (rotation).

4.    Rail Deck Park
Design Project / Design Course, 2018
Waterloo Architecure
Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

On the southern edge of a city of Toronto, engulfed by sharp edges of high-rise structures, in between two main transportation arteries (Spadina and Bathurst) lies the walled garden. A public space struggling to keep its neutrality in between the enormous volume of the concrete jungle surrounding it.

5.     JIG
Design Project, Material Syntax, 2018
Waterloo Architecure
Waterloo, Ontario, Canada

Clay Brick Printing

A device that does both functions (holding the work and guiding a tool) is called a jig.

Jig’s primary purpose is to provide replicability, accuracy, and interchangeability in the manufacturing of products, keeping the individuality of each piece.

Jig provides a unique screen system that has the ability to be stacked / interlocked providing both stability and permeability to the system. Jig has the capacity to be arranged in different forms to suit the space by relying on each other for support. This autonomous character makes jig a perfect standard for testing clay printed systems.

6.   Desert Urbanism
AAVS Jordan, 2018
Wadi Rum, Jordan

The Jordanian desert ecology is a distinct antiquity, a magnificent heterogeneous landscape that is emergent of fluid erosion processes which have occurred over more than fifty million years. The biodiversity of the desert reveals a vast platform for research into natural artifacts. The ambition of the program is to re-think existing architectural design methodologies and exploit the potential of cutting-edge design technology which is driven from a design-research perspective towards natural phenomenon.

7.    GALT Publication
Intern Architect
Toronto

Galt is an independent student publication from the University of Waterloo School of Architecture. For its first issue, Galt explores the process of alternating.

Galt sets out to describe—through a tapestry of student, faculty and alumni work — the approach to architecture that the University of Waterloo School of Architecture has created.

9.   Point Cloud Scanning and Modelling
CAD/BIM Coordinator
Oakville, ON

PLANiT Measuring provided experience in 3D scanning, measuring, and modelling that scaled from small housing units / commercial for permit application purposes, into a large historic buildings aimed to be renovated and re-purposed.

3D scanning was a fascinating experience that turns point clouds and picture based scans into digital models, allowing retrofit design to be accurate and detailed in digital space before working on site.

responsibilities included scanning and documenting on site, modelling and drafting plans and 3D models for client, producing submitting packages that suits client needs.
