A device that does both functions (holding the work and guiding a tool) is called a jig.

Jig’s primary purpose is to provide replicability, accuracy, and interchangeability in the manufacturing of products, keeping the individuality of each piece.

Jig provides a unique screen system that has the ability to be stacked / interlocked providing both stability and permeability to the system.
